Rent An El Banco Villa

If you are in search of spring vacation ideas, El Banco Villas is now leasing two of their luxurious villas. El Banco is a 110 acre compound with one of the longest stretches of white, sandy beach on the Punta de Mita Peninsula. This beachside setting is just north of Puerto Vallarta on Mexico's Pacific Coast. The two Villas, Villa Mirador and Villa Los Arcos offer expansive views of the Bay of Banderas, Marietas Islands, Sierra Madre Mountains and El Banco's long stretch of white-sand beach.The villa design was inspired by Mexico's Spanish Colonial heritage and incorporates grand arches, gracious courtyards and hand-craftsmanship as well as amenities that address every contemporary wish. Each of the four bedrooms in the villas has a private terrace.

The villas rent for $3,000 (plus 16% tax) per night from December 16 to April 30 and for $2,000 a night from May 1 to December 15. Concierge services are available to arrange golf reservations, surf lessons, in-home massage, yoga, restaurant reservations, local excursions, trips to luxury spas and anything else you can dream up. A private chef can prepare up to three meals a day to keep you happily well-fed.

Beach Villas at El Banco

We are back for another look at El Banco, former Yahoo CEO Tim Koogle's luxury community between Puerto Vallarta and Punta de Mita. The first phase of the beach villas at the development recently went on sale. El Banco is located on over 100 acres on the Punta de Mita Peninsula and the Beach Villas are located in the southeast corner of the development. Each custom-designed home has views of the Bay of Banderas and El Banco's long stretch of white-sand beach. The villas have a Spanish Colonial look and each has a minimum of four bedrooms. The property does have some eco-friendly features including using local materials and plants, a planned desalinization facility and a low-density master plan. The homes are listed between $5.5-$8.5 million.

El Banco Luxury Development

The serene location shown here is the setting for el Banco, a new luxury community on the Mexico coast. Tim Koogle, the founding CEO of Yahoo! Inc., is creating el Banco as a low-density luxury development. The el Banco community will include unfinished estate lots, finished homes and an all-suite luxury boutique hotel. The oceanfront estate lots are selling for about $4.75 million and 14 beach villas that will be finished in late 2006 will have price tags of $3 million-plus.
