Kanye West's Egyptian Jewelry

What was that large piece of jewelry around Kanye West's neck last Sunday at the BET awards? For his comeback performance West wore one of the biggest chains we've seen yet. The thick gold chain held up a huge enameled pendant of Horus, the god of the sky, war and protection in ancient Egyptian religion. The son of Isis and Osiris, Horus was usually depicted as a falcon-headed man as he is in Kanye's necklace. West also wore a four-finger pyramid ring, the total of which are rumored to have a $300,000 price tag. He posted large pictures of the pieces on his blog. Both pieces were created by Jacob the Jeweler. West is famous for his extravagant jewelry. He has worn a jeweled Jesus and another pyramid ring before.
