Moby Dick: 750hp Porsche Panamera Turbo by Edo Competition

If you're looking for a luxury sedan that can perform like a sportscar, you could do a lot worse than the Porsche Panamera Turbo. With 500 horsepower on tap, it's one of the fastest four-doors on the market. But for a company like Edo Competition, that's never enough.

Edo has made a name for itself by taking extreme performance machines like Ferraris and Lamborghinis and moving them even further into the stratosphere. Now the German tuning studio has turned its attention to the Panamera. Engine modifications boost output up by 50% to 750 horsepower, which Edo says should be good for a 0-60 sprint in under four seconds and an Autobahn-crunching top speed of 211 mph.

They've also teamed up with Mansory for a custom body kit, dropped the suspension, mounted 22-inch wheels and a sport exhaust. Since each example is built to order, buyers can choose from a range of interior options as well, including wood veneers, carbon fiber or metal trim, leather and a variety of luxe fabrics. Russian Owner Commissions Edo to turn his Aston Martin DB9 into a DBS

Before the One-77 and V12 Vantage came along, the Aston Martin DBS was the king of the hill. Just ask James Bond: the DBS is the same supercar 007 has driven in the past two movies. But the DBS wasn't designed from scratch. It was based upon the DB9, Aston's staple V12 grand tourer.

After owning one such DB9 for five years, an owner in Russia wanted to upgrade to the DBS. But rather than taking his GT into the local Aston dealer for a trade-in, he commissioned Edo Competition to carry out its own conversion. The venerable tuning house installed the factory-sourced body panels, customized the interior and upgraded both the brakes and engine, the latter boosted from 470 horsepower stock beyond the DBS's 510 all the way up to 550. The big question, though, is whether the conversion ended up costing the owner more than trading in for a DBS straight from the factory.

Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano by Ed Hardy

The Christian Audigier style has grown so pervasive with the Ashton Kutcher set that it's long since leapt off of t-shirts and is attaching itself to everything else. French wine is one example, but the fashion designer behind such labels as Ed Hardy and Von Dutch has been eagerly making his mark, one way or another, on automobiles. First there was the Ed Hardy edition Smart car, then came the Chrisitian Audigier edition Lamborghini Murcielago, followed by the Ducati Monster we brought you recently and a custom Mercedes CL63 AMG too. And now another addition to the Audigier automotive design portfolio has emerged in the form of a Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. Making Lapo Elkann's ride seem reserved by comparisson, this unique Ferrari is decked out in more tattoo art than a biker rally, and goes to show that if you have the money, Audigier will be glad to "improve" your car for you.

EDO Competition Bentley GT Speed

Back in December my colleague Deidre Woollard reported on the limited edition Lamborghini conceived by EDO and designer Christian Audigier. Now EDO, the German exotic auto tuner, have turned their hand to another supercar, the Bentley Continental GT Speed. Billed as the world's fastest Grand Tourer (GT), they've boosted the already mighty Bentley 6.0-liter W12 engine by 70 hp to come up with a whiplash-inducing 680 hp. As a result the car can now do 0 - 62 mph in just 4.2 seconds and hit a top speed of over 210 mph. EDO have also added a high-flow, stainless steel exhaust with an adjustable sound level control so you can adjust the engine noise from a whisper to a roar. Another switch allows you to lower the front and rear of the vehicle by up to 35 millimeters for improved handling capability.

Edo Competition Maserati MC12

Inside Line shows us another tease car, a one-off that has already found a home. This is a souped-up version of the Maserati MC 12. Edo Competition, a tuning company which specializes in exotics, created it for a "wealthy Russian enthusiast." The car has 700 horsepower and can hit speeds over 230 mph. It also has bigger ceramic brakes, an adjustable suspension, Bridgestone tires instead of Pirellis and a spiffy new paint scheme.
