Forget rolling snake eyes, how about a horseshoe and the devil? Quirky designer Douglas Little always likes to flirt with the dark side and his rotten luck dice are no exception. The dice, which are made from made from a zinc alloy and decorated with Swarovski crystals, feature engravings of images traditionally associated with good and bad luck (a horsehoe, the number 13, a skull, a peace sign, the devil, a shamrock). You can test your luck at a discount. Unica Home has knocked 20% off the dice, which come in a box holding a set of five and usually sell for $190.

The collection includes seven candles, Anger, Envy, Gluttony, Greed, Lust, Sloth and Vanity along with seven hand-engraved cards. The set sells for $225.

Douglas Little Skull Chocolates

We've mentioned the curious goods offered by Douglas Little before, his latest venture takes him into the world of the edible but he has not left his love of skulls behind. He has worked with confectioner valerie gordon to create the mori ex cacao (death by chocolate) collection. The delicately delicious skulls are done in bittersweet chocolate and filled with either scorched caramel, bitter brandied cherry or chili and chocolate and then painted with colored cocoa butter. A set of three, one of each flavor, sells for $90.

DL Memento Mori Skull Plates

You can't accuse Douglas Little of jumping on the skull trend. The designer with the love of the macabre has been hip to working with skulls since before they became ubiquitous. He's now taken his designs to the next level with these skull plates. The four black porcelain plates have silver details dominated by a big skull.
