This simple and elegant wooden table is the work of Enzo Bellini, a Colorado-based designer who is passionate about woodworking. His furniture has a sculptural aspect to it and he seeks to create designs that are both functional and artistic. His butterfly dining table and chairs use plenty of flat planes which highlight the natural beauty of the wood used. Also check out the look of the chairs. Gone are the standard four legs. The chairs use a butterfly shape that mimics the table support, stabilized with a crosspiece of wood at the base. The side chairs are supported by a butterfly shape that bisects the chair vertically and the end chairs use the same piece only horizontally.
