The Heart Truth's Red Dress Collection 2011 Fashion Show (Exclusive with Video)

Patti LaBelle, dressed in Zang Toi, walks down the runway at The Heart Truth's Red Dress Collection 2011 fashion show in New York.

The Heart Truth's Red Dress Collection 2011 Fashion Show kicked off Fashion Week at Lincoln Center in New York last evening. The celebrity-studded affair celebrated the national awareness campaign for women about heart disease. Celebrity models included Ann Curry, Audrina Patridge, Camila Alves, Denise Richards, Dita Von Teese, Eve, Gayle King, Giuliana Rancic, Julianne Hough, Laila Ali, Linda Gray, Natasha Bedingfield, Patti LaBelle (see photo above and video below), Suzanne Somers (see photo below) and several others (featured in slideshow below). Watch the full video of the show on MyDaily.

There were plenty of celebrities in the audience to watch the presentation, including actor Matthew McConaughey and Apprentice-winning Bill Rancic, who were both there to cheer on their significant others (Camila Alves and Giuliana Rancic, respectively).

Many of the participants have a personal connection to heart disease, which motivated them to become involved in the show. "It turned out to be a lot of fun---now that it is over," The Today Show's Ann Curry, who was stunning in Carmen Marc Valvo (see slideshow below), told Luxist. "It wasn't so much fun leading up to it because I was kind of nervous. I have never done anything like this before."

Denise Richards in Hidden Hills, Estate of the Day

A couple of weeks ago, I mentioned that Denise Richards had put her latest Hidden Hills home on the market but now the LA Times' Ann Brenoff has unearthed the property website so this is definitely worth a closer look. The New-England-style retreat is definitely an upgrade from the last time we featured a home of hers as estate of the day. The five-bedroom home has a gourmet kitchen, dining room, large living room and a sitting room in the master suite all done up in a Pamela Anderson style Shabby Chic decor. Richards has listed the house for $4.25 million which is around $100,000 less than she paid for it.

Fortunoff's Charms For Charity For Mother's Day

Filed under: Jewelry, Auctions, Celebrity Shopping, Charity

This year you can give your mother the same gift that a celebrity is giving theirs. Fortunoff has launched Charms for Charity with celebrities such as Brooke Shields, Eva Longoria, Denise Richards, Hayden Panettiere, Keri Russell, Molly Sims and Petra Nemcova. Each selected their favorite gold charms from Fortunoff'charm collection. The bracelets will serve personalized gifts and Fortunoff will create replicas of each of the celebrity designed bracelets to be auctioned off on Portero.com from May 8th through May 17th. One hundred percent of funds raised will benefit the charity of the celebrity's choice. The choice of charms are interesting, for example, Eva Longoria's bracelet, which benefits her charity Eva's Heroes has an Eiffel Tower, a basketball, an umbrella cocktail, drama masks and a heart and cross combination, things which seem to be more about Eva and her upcoming wedding than her mom. Keri Russell's includes three seashells and gardening tools and Brooke Shields's is the blandest of the ones I have seen with a pair of baby shoes, a baby carriage, Empire state building and a present box. You can check out the rest of the designs at the website. Keri and Brooke's bracelets are after the jump.

Denise Richards Home, Estate of the Day

As we mentioned earlier, this house is involved in the sordid drama of the Charlie Sheen/Denise Richards marriage. Richards bought the home after she first separated from Sheen on the recommendation of her friend Heather Locklear who lives down the street. According to the tabloids, Richards is now dating Locklear's soon-to-be ex, Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora. Locklear is allegedly dating David Spade.

Now that we've addressed the rumor mill, let's check out the house. It's located in the gated enclave of the North Ranch Country Club Estates. The home sits on one acre and has seven bedrooms and other details including a theater room, maids living quarters and a family room with a built-in entertainment center. It's in a private part of town and quite a large home but it looks like Richards moved her children's  toys in, added a couple of Pottery Barn couches and called it a day. The home is listed at $4.3 million. After the jump, someone didn't tidy up before the photo shoot...

Sunday Real Estate Round-Up

--Giants tight end Jeremy Shockey has bought three townhouses for just under $3 million apiece at the new Henley on Hudson complex  on the shores of Weehawken, N.J. Shockey wanted all six but townhouses but was limited to three.

--Howard Stern and Leonard Stern are each working on the construction on their mansions on side-by-side properties in the Hamptons.
--Yet another reality TV set turns into a listing. This time it's the Gastineau Girls apartment. The Battery Park City apartment rented by Lisa and Brittny Gastineau is listed for $3.4 million. No pets are allowed in the building, which explains most of the first season of the show's subplot (I confess, I caught an episode or two). Check out the listing here.
B-movie actress Lisa Marie has sold her two-bedroom condo for $2 million.
--Hmmm... the listing for the Kips Bay decorator showhouse owned by Jean Doumanian and Jacqui Safra has been pulled.

From the LA Times Hot Property:
-- Denise Richards has already put her Westlake Village home at $4.3 million. She's owned the house for only around a year, buying it just after her separation from Charlie Sheen. She bought it for just under $4 million so she's not going to be making a big profit but she really must want to get out of the neighborhood. No surprise since Heather Locklear, the soon-to-be ex-wife of Richards' current beau Richie Sambora, lives down the street. I can't resist, it's our estate of the day later on.
--Greek shipping heir and tabloid fodder Paris Latsis has settled on a three-story, Beverly Hills-area house for $9.2 million.

The lab will remain on the property and has 18-inch poured-concrete walls and tunnels into the hillsides for measuring earthquakes. A comprehensive slide tour is here. It's in rough shape but it could be a great project for someone with money and vision.

From the NY Times Big Deal:
--Susan Weber Soros, the ex-wife of the billionaire financier George Soros has picked up a  five-bedroom apartment this month at the Majestic for more than $20 million. One of the former owners of the apartment was hotelier Ian Schrager who had the place tricked out by Philippe Starck. She's not sure if she is changing the decor yet.
--A company controlled by Harvey Weinstein has bought a five-story town house in the West Village which had an asking price of $12.5 million. Weinstein plans to redecorate the seven-bedroom home which also has a screening room
--Stephen Dorff  has picked up a $1.65 million, 1,100-square-foot apartment at 251 West 19th Street, in Chelsea,.

G. Manton, an art collector and benefactor of the Tate Gallery in London. They already live in the building in a smaller place which they are selling for $3.695 million. --Ricky Martin has listed his Time Warner Center condo for  $9.95 million, according to a source with knowledge of the listing. He bought the place for  $6.8 million in 2004. The condo is 3,000 square feet, including four bedrooms and floor-to-ceiling windows with Central Park and city views.
--Phil Collins has bought a Central Park West apartment for $3.85 million.

From the Boston Globe:
--Ex-Tyco chief Dennis Kozlowski has finally put his gorgeous Nantucket estate on the market for $23 million. Check out what a whole lot of grand larceny buys at the listing here.
