Using the best of old and new world winemaking techniques, Jim Fetzer introduces award-winning, Biodynamic growing practices that go beyond organic standards. The Opulent Vintner's Collection contains a 2002 Ceago Camp Masut Cabernet Sauvignon, a 2006 Ceago Del Lago Chardonnay and Ceago Vinegarden's estate-grown, cold-pressed, certified organic and Biodynamic olive oil. To complement the wine, included are 10 pieces of fresh, seasonal fruit, 4 oz. each of roasted and salted organic cashews, almonds and pistachios, and 4 oz. of organic chocolate caramel pecan clusters.

Father's Day Spending Down

Father's Day is just a couple of weeks away and many may still be searching for that perfect gift ... or are they? According to a recent poll, spending money on good ol' dad is in decline as gas and groceries soar to new heights. It used to be that many of us would do more than the standard greeting card, but over half of today's consumers (68.4%) will spend an average of $7.49 which includes a trip to Hallmark and maybe an extra doo-dad or two (no funny use of the word "dad" intended). Although 32% of you will head to a department store for the perfect tie or cologne, my thought is spend the money on something you can do together instead of something you're not sure he'll ever use.

Father's Day started in 1910 and though there is no record of when the tradition of giving Dad a tie began, they are the quintessential father's day gift. Unfortunately, the more popular ties were as a gift, the less attractive they seemed to get and before long, father's seemed to dread getting "another ugly tie" - as though they were often besieged with such ties.
