Coveted Cuffs at BG's

braceletIn my personal opinion, cuff bracelets are so much more fashionable and enjoyable than bangles will ever be. Cuffs stay put on your wrist, add punch to any ensemble, and carry a certain strength inherent in their design. In celebration of fantastic cuffs I've highlighted those currently available at Bergdorf Goodman. From simple and sleek to colorful and creative each cuff brings a unique sense of style to the wearer. Designers such as Joan Hornig, Jose & Maria Barrera, Kenneth Jay Lane and Matthew Campbell offer the current coveted cuffs at BG's. Explore the gallery to see more!

(The cuff shown above is designed by Matthew Campbell made of rhodium-plated silver with blue enamel accented with round-cut blue sapphire stones and center citrine stone for $1,800).

Gem, A Jewelry Boutique

Jessica Kagan Cushman's wildly popular scrimshaw bangles are just some of the treats at Gem, a jewelry boutique in Chicago. The store features a wide variety of designers who work in materials ranging from leather to diamonds including plenty of gemstones that don't usually get the fine jewelry treatment. The ring here is a delicate slice of agate mounted on 14k green gold and sells for $380.

Kenneth Cole Conscience Cufflinks

Are you planning on being good or bad tonight? You can get both a little angel and a little devil with Kenneth Cole's Conscience Cufflinks. The links are made of highly polished sterling silver with either a blue angel or a red devil in translucent enamel - so the physical manifestations of your conscience will be on either wrist, rather than on either shoulder, as so often depicted in artwork and even in cartoons. Price: $45.

Paul Smith Reindeer & Snowman Cuff Links

Looking for a way to subtly celebrate the season in a staid office environment? Paul Smith's Reindeer & Snowman Cuff Links are an adorable way to do just that, not to mention that they're the perfect accessories for any holiday party. The gunmetal gray links will catch the eye with splashes of bright red enamel (scarf and boots on the reindeer, scarf and hat on the snowman) and glittering green crystal eyes and buttons. Since they aren't directly tired to Christmas, but more to the winter season in general, these links can be used into the New Year before being put away until next December. Price: $150.

Forever Young Cufflinks

Ordinarily, you might not associate cufflinks with something really fun or whimsical, but the Forever Young Cufflinks are just that. They look quite similar to the iconic Legos blocks, so they'll probably impress your kids in addition to getting a few smiles out of your coworkers when you wear them in to the office. Unlike the real blocks, you can't stack them, so while they can be an icebreaker at a meeting, they can't keep you from getting bored while listing several hours of presentations. They are available in one of 13 different colors, all with sterling silver backings. Price: $150.
