The "Heloise" underwire halter neck corset is part of Agent Provocateur's kinky new lingerie collection, Soirée. It's made of black ribbed duchess satin and lined in soft black leather, with a deep plunge neckline and hand-embellished biker studs. À la Scarlett O'Hara, this corset really will pull in the waist. Custom Corsets For a Cause

Give a celebrity a corset and a cause and you get a wide variety of results. Some go basic but some go really crazy. Of the all auctions where celebs get to decorate something, the Frederick's of Hollywood Custom Corset auction for Clothes Off Our Backs seems to bring out creative side of the most celebs. This is the fourth year of the auction and the charities benefitted are the America's Second Harvest (the nation's largest charitable hunger-relief organization), The Art of Elysium (which enriches the lives of artist and critically ill children) and World Education (focusing on girls' scholarship programs in Africa). The six shown above are Kim Kardashian, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Virginia Madsen on the top row and Andy Garcia, Debra Messing and Gabrielle Union on the bottom row. So far Gabrielle Union's Fire and Ice bustier has garnered the most bids. The auction ends November 12.

Corset belts are very popular with fall fashion lines, though the trend seemed to hit over the summer, as some celeb trendsetters set the style bar a little higher than the potato-sack dresses and leggings that so many of the young movie stars seemed to be going around in.
