Using her travels around the world as inspiration, designer Maureen Okogwu, translates her experiences into stunning one-of-a kind handbags for her company Sunny Rose. Featured is the Copper Deluxe Handbag ($1330) which is made from a multitude of oblong leather pieces connected by copper rings creating a mesh look. I can only imagine the painstaking hours it must have taken to create this gorgeous bag. The chestnut colored leather is ideal for Fall and definitely worth carrying into next Spring & Summer. The flap features a dark metal scaly tail as an unexpected accent while the interior is lined with a satin pouch, preventing any of your items from falling through and features a zippered pouch for smaller items. The copper look is continued onto the handbag's double woven handle with a vibrant metallic hue.

The Christian Louboutin Lolita Mirror Shoulder Bag is a shiny, special bag for a to be seen.

At first, it's hard to tell from the photo what size a bag like this would be. It's actually rather large, at 19"W X 14"H X 4"D, so take note, this is an exceptional attention-grabber. We're not sure why Louboutin decided to call this the "Lolita" bag; if we saw a child with this bag, we'd roll our eyes. It would require a woman of extraordinary style to carry this with class.

In case you think you may be that woman, here are some additional details: Those are double 7" drop goldtone chain straps, and the bag is lined with red satin and includes a small mini-wallet in the same copper-mirror-effect material. While some might attempt to wear this with a casual outfit to downplay its extravagance, we think that might be a mistake. This is a completely fabulous bag, and we'd like to see it with a completely fabulous ensemble (or even a power suit?) on a completely fabulous person. A mirror-effect like this can sometimes look cheap, but trust us, it doesn't when Louboutin does it.

Concerto Major Sink

This isn't the most practical sink I've ever seen, after all the bowl is upside down, but it does have a hidden benefit. The Concerto Major sink's bowl is upside down. The benefit of this is that when the water hits the hammered copper dome it creates a waterfall with gentle sound effects. The sink has a very natural feel with the combination of mesquite hardwood and copper. It would work well in a spa bathroom for a very zen retreat.

Tom Dixon Designs in the U.S. this Summer

If you've already heard of Tom Dixon then you'll be glad to know his designs are making the move the to the States this summer. And if you haven't heard of him well then a taste of his work is pictured here, Copper Shade Pendants. They're plastic polycarbonate pendant globes coated internally with copper that look equally beautiful hanging solo or in a large group. Other designs of his that catch my eye are the Fresh Fat Easy Chair and the Spin articulated table candelabra.
