Conway Stewart's 'The Evolution' Pen

The latest pen from Conway Stewart features technology that took 3 years to develop: it can shift its weight from front to back to suit the individual's writing style. Used extensively the pen is said to reduce writing fatigue and improve writing consistency, and if in today's world of computers and email you don't find yourself facing "writing fatigue" you can simply use the pen's adjustable gravity feature to enhance your personal writing by varying between heavier and lighter strokes.

Made of pattern-engraved solid silver The Evolution is available in a limited edition of 200 pieces for $2700 each.

Conway Stewart Isaac Newton Pen

The latest limited edition pen from Conway Stewart celebrates Sir Isaac Newton. The pen features hand painting on the cap and barrel of Newton and one of his most famous mathematical theories. The barrel shows the laws of motion and universal gravitation on the barrel and the cap has a likeness of Newton himself, taken from a portrait by Godfrey Kneller in 1689. Shakespeare Limited Edition Pen

The Shakespeare pen is the latest limited edition from Conway Stewart. The pen combines airbrushing and hand painting to show a scene from Romeo and Juliet on the barrel and the cap features the likeness of Shakespeare as shown in the engraving of him in the First Folio of Shakespeare works. The pen has a solid 18-carat gold nib available in a choice of eight grades, from Extra Fine to Extra Broad, Italic Fine, Italic Medium and Italic Broad and it uses a cartridge converter filling mechanism. There are 25 numbered pieces available in fountain pen or roller ball which sell for $2,450 each. Pretty, but the Romeo and Juliet look a bit old for teenage lovers in this version.

Conway Stewart Windsor Pen

The latest pen from English company Conway Stewart is the Windsor. The Windsor takes its inspiration from the fine detail work done by English gunsmiths. It takes craftsmen over 60 hours to create the intricate scroll engraving on this sterling silver pen. A translucent blue resin is applied to the pen so that the silver beneath can shine through. The nib is 18K gold with rhodium plating. The fountain pen sells for $1,005 and is being made in a limited edition of 100.
