A home in Braselton Georgia's Chateau Elan gated community will go up for auction on April 7. The home was appraised at $2.2 million but will be sold to the highest bidder over $395,000. A press release states that the home is being sold due to the owner's relocation. Mike Fisher auctioneer and chief executive officer of United Country – The Redfield Group, states that the home is not in foreclosure, "the sellers are relocating, and they recognize the value of using an accelerated method of marketing – in other words, an auction – to sell their property."
The 9,000 square foot home was featured in From House to Home in 2003. It has five bedroom suites plus a luxurious master suite, as well as six bathrooms. There is a gourmet kitchen, formal living and dining rooms, brick wine cellar, wet bar and grand foyer with twin staircases. The home has hardwood floors, three fireplaces, pool, pool house with a bedroom and bathroom, a gazebo and extensive landscaping on two acres. Detailed information about the home for sale can be found online at www.redfieldgroup.com.
