Victoria and David Beckham's Pricey Art Collection

You might not think of Victoria and David Beckham as movers and shakers in the art world but the Mirror UK reveals that the fashionable, globe-trotting pair have built up a modern art collection worth over $40 million. The couple have based their collection around the idea of love and it features work from Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin, Banksy and others. Some of the art is openly sentimental but other pieces like Hirst's bull's heart stabbed with scalpels, speak to the trials and tribulations of modern romance. Much of the art was purchased through London's White Cube gallery and some of it was given as gifts for special occasions. With homes in London, Milan and Los Angeles, the Beckhams have plenty of wall and floor space to display their treasures but the collection could go on display at some point.
