Tyson Beckford To Host Fashion Weekend In Trinidad

Carribbean entertainment brand Antilia has put together a new "weekend experience" at The Carlton Savannah with hopes that it will help position the republic as the fashion capital of the region. Scheduled for next weekend, the 3 day event will be hosted by supermodel Tyson Beckford and will feature Trinidadian fashion designer Meiling debuting her "Noir" collection and former Miss Trinidad and Tobago Anya Ayoung-Chee who will unveil her latest called "Anya de Rogue".Simon Khan, CEO of Antilia, hinted that more exciting details about the event would be unveiled soon as well as saying "We are aiming to position Trinidad and Tobago as the hot new international weekend destination of fashion shows and private parties." The event is scheduled for May 28-30th, 2010.
