An interesting watch from Tag Heue
r is this new world time GMT version of its popular Link collection. The steel watch is 42mm wide and houses an automatic mechanical movement (base ETA), that they call the Calibre 7. The cool news about the watch is the magnetic bezel system that connects to the inner ring with the reference city names for the world time function. Moving the bezel moves the city names so that you can calculate the time in that timezone. This should be connected to the GMT hand as well. Pretty nifty little invention. Not wholly Tag Heuer in concept, but they added some new features. Not sure about availability for the Link Calibre 7 Advanced GMT watch
or the price, but this interesting travelers watch should be available soon.
