H. Stern Feather Bracelet

Heavy, chunky, and bold, this bracelet from H. Stern's Feather Collection still manages to have an air of delicate femininity about it. The coordinating earrings are dainty and fluid, and I think the pair would make the perfect "little black dress" accessory set and would be sure to get admiring glances. Made of just over 123 grams of 24k brushed yellow gold (I would prefer it in silver myself), this little bit of arm candy can be yours for $21,000 (add the earrings for just $4,900 more).

Gijs Bakker's 'Bracelet with 90 Degree Angle'

It looks more like an art sculpture than jewelry (especially in this photo) but the "Bracelet with 90 degree angle" by Gijs Bakker is definitely meant to be worn. Originally made of aluminum as part of his 1969 collection, the unique angled design has been re-released in the extremely limited edition of just five, and will now be made of titanium.

Titanium? It must be heavy to wear then (which isn't necessarily a bad thing) and of course it's pretty much indestructible! Plus when you don't have it on it you can store it on your nightstand sitting up like this and it can double as home decor. £2000

Sparkly and golden, this handbag is sure to make you feel like a rockstar as you make your entrance at whatever event you take it to. It's the Metallic Bracelet Bag from Roberto Cavalli and it's really a two-for-one handbag and bracelet. It features gold metallic leather with a gold bangle bracelet that can either dangle off the bag or dangle on your wrist. It has a clasp closure on the top and a shiny leopard print lining. This is the kind of bag that will make you feel beautiful no matter what kind of day you're having! $1,165

Win A John Ferdinand Bracelet

Men's jewelry is often a subject of some debate. Although men have been adorning themselves with jewelry for thousands of years, some say that men have no need for this type of embellishment. And certainly when it comes to men's jewelry, bad taste can abound. But simple, tasteful jewelry on a man can also be incredibly sexy.

John Ferdinand is an independent accessories brand from Hong Kong. They create pieces styled in solid sterling silver and inlaid with ebony, using offcuts from furniture making which would otherwise be discarded. The pieces also come packaged beautiful raw bamboo boxes. Although they design primarily for men, the company has found that about half of their customers are women who are mostly buying for themselves. No surprise, the designs have a contemporary unisex appeal.

This week one lucky reader will win the Halcyon bracelet which features a chunky curved silver panel inlaid with ebony on a thick, soft strap of nappa leather with a silver buckle. It's got a watch-like appeal making it perfect for those who use their cell phone to tell time but would still like a bold piece of wrist candy.

Roberto Cavalli Gecko Cuffs

These quirky gecko cuff bracelets are so recognizably Cavalli, I can't think of another designer that could make sparkly reptiles look somewhat cool and fashionable. The shimmering Swarovski crystal lizard is toned down by the neutral wood body, making these bracelets a fun and playful addition to your summer accessory collection. Pick your color, fuchsia, blue or green... or a more wearable black (my favorite). Vivre.com carries the Roberto Cavalli Gecko Cuffs which retail for $625.

Ostrich Shell Bangles

These beautifully summery bangles are the perfect accessory to bare tanned arms. The bangles are made of solid brass with a painstaking decoration of ostrich eggshell. After master artisans piece together ostrich eggshell shards to create these bracelets each bracelet goes through an elaborate process to enhance and protect the mosaic. The eggshell shards are collected after the ostrich chick hatches so no birds were harmed in the making of these designs. They sell for $98.

Barbie Rocks, Barbie Jewelry Goes Luxe

We've seen jewelry lines that feature Hello Kitty and Tweety, now the childhood icon Barbie is getting in on the act with Barbie Rocks, a new collection by Layna and Alan Friedman. The new collection, which launches this month features pink diamonds, precious and semi-precious colored stones and rare metals. Both Mattel and Layna and Alan Friedman will donate a portion of the proceeds from each item in the Barbie™ Rocks by Layna and Alan Friedman collection to the Children Affected by AIDS Foundation.

The first collection is the Silhouette collection that shows the classic ponytail, long eyelashes and ski-jump nose profile. It features two necklace styles: the "Luxe" Barbie™ Pendant and Barbie™ DogTag, in 18K white, yellow or rose gold, with white or black diamonds or yellow or pink sapphires; and the "Classic," which is done in sterling silver. The Barbie bracelets are available in sterling silver with 18K rose gold charms. The jewelry collection is currently bing sold at the Alan Friedman boutique in Beverly Hills and online with pieces ranging from $185 to $15,000.

Ippolita Turquoise Bangle

Spring 2008 is all about turquoise, every boutique I go in is full of the sea green stones. Past times showed us turquoise accented with silver (which I never liked), but combine it with today's gold influence and it takes on a fresh effervescent look. Italian born Jewelry designer, Ippolita brings you bangles that are dainty yet bold from her popular 18 kt gold line. This hand made, nine-stone bracelet looks amazing layered, but is also strong enough to stand alone, it retails for $2,950 and is available online.

Nest Bracelet

Inspired by the nature, the large Nest bracelet by Saprang has the woven look of a bird's nest but with a hole in the center for your wrist. The bracelet is made of sterling silver with brass wires wound around it to create the swirled design. Your Nest comes with a nest of its own, the bracelet is packaged in a teak box that is lined in suede and has a leather tie. It sells for $1,035.

Fashionista Bracelet

The cutesy Fashionista bracelet celebrates the love of shoes and purses in 18K gold and colorful enamel. The toggle clasp gold charm bracelet features two high heeled shoes (one sandal and one pump) and three different purses. It sells for $4500 from Links of London.

Crystal Crater Bracelet

Bold and beautiful, the Crystal Crater Bracelet from Subversive Jewelry is a nice balance of earthiness and glitz. Large brass discs sit haphazardly on a wide cuff, and then an unexpectedly large crystal sits off-center to one side -- adding a little glamor to an otherwise purely organic vibe. Dress it up or dress it down, this cuff is sure to make your outfit. And spark some curiousity, too...what do you think was the inspiration behind it? Made of brass, it measures 2 1/2" wide with a 2 1/2" adjustable diameter. $1195

A. Jaron Coke Bottle Bracelet

I've seen diamonds paired with some pretty interesting materials such as ropes and shells but the jewelry from Amanda Jaron takes what most might consider trash and combines it with gold and stones. Her Diamonds, Pearls & Coca Cola bracelet combines a green Coca Cola bottle with 18K gold, freshwater pearls and diamonds to create a unique fashion statement. The bracelet sells for $1,375. Other pieces from A. Jaron include enameled pacifiers, a tennis bracelet made of a chain of angels and necklaces that feature marquise-cut briolette semiprecious crystals overlaid with a delicate filigree.

Roberto Cavalli Mirror Bangle

If you are not keen on going crazy with vibrant and eye popping colors for your Fall wardrobe, try your hand for a more subtle yet bold alternative - accessories. They are your friend. They instantly update any outfit without costing an arm and a leg. Accessories are key items that set the tone to your outfit with little to no effort. The Roberto Cavalli Mirror Bangle is distinct and would add a touch of flashiness without being too outrageous. The multifaceted acrylic bangle is seen here in cacao, but is also available in vanilla and cherry. Bangle width is 1.5" with a wrist opening of 2.5" Price: $375.

Jewelry 4 Aces Poker Bracelet

Oh my, I don't quite know what to make of the Jewelry 4 Aces line of poker-themed jewelry. They are definitely the type of thing that only a gambling man, or Lady Luck, could love. The line includes rings, earrings, cufflinks and more but the piece de resistance has to be this bracelet which has four diamonds (each over .75 carats) in the shape of the four suits set in 18K gold. There are just 52 of these made, one for each card in a deck, and sell for $12,900 each.

[Thanks, Ilan]
