Bond No. 9 Creates New Orleans Scent

Perfume company Bond No.9 has covered just about every neighborhood in New York with a distinctive fragrance but the brand has taken on the Big Easy for a new Saks Fifth Avenue exclusive scent. Bond No. 9's New Orleans scent includes notes of cinnamon and sandalwood, tuberose, violet leaf, cassis and vanilla. The bottle has a Swarovski crystal fleur de lis on the bottle. The scent launches on December 4 and Laurice Rahme of Bond no. 9 will be at the New Orleans Saks to sign bottles on December 4 and December 5 from 11 am to 6 pm. It sells for $325.

Three New Bond No. 9 Fragrances for Harrods

Others may not know about Bond No. 9's three new options created for Harrods so you could be the first to step out with one of these captivating new scents. Choose from Bond No. 9 Harrods for Him, Her or the Swarovski Crystal Edition which is unisex. While this seems like a great treat for yourself it would also make a fantastic gift for someone close to you (you get to pick what they smell like which is fabulous) or a holiday stocking stuffer! Is it too early for me to mention Christmas?

The elegant all-male scent features an herbaceous and woody combination with touches of lavender, sandalwood, violet leaf and musk mingled with rhubarb, star anise, chamomile, and pimento leaves. The purely feminine scent expresses a tuberose base combined with leather, neroli, mandarin, chamomile, clary sage and nutmeg accents amid a background of amber, sandalwood and vetiver. The sensual unisex fragrance highlights the rare Arabian 'oud' botanical resin paired with myrrh and amber notes and sprinkled with black pepper, cumin and vetiver.

Both Bond No. 9 Harrods for Him and for Her are available in 50 ml for £100 or 100 ml for £178. The Unisex Swarovski Crystal Edition is only available in the 100 ml quantity for £495 featuring a crystal depiction of the Harrods building in 1,600 emerald and white sparkling Swarovski gems.

Bond No. 9 Introduces Andy Warhol Lexington Avenue

I've never really associated Andy Warhol with shoes but he was actually a dedicated shoe illustrator before becoming a Pop Art phenom. To celebrate Warhol's 80th birthday, Bond No. 9 has created Andy Warhol Lexington Avenue, the third of the Warhol Collectible eaux de parfum from Bond No. 9. (the first two are Silver Factory and Union Square). The shoe covered bottle holds an eau de parfum that is a modern floral woody chypre combined with an epicurean brew of fennel, cardamom, roasted almonds, peony, Florentine orris, creme brulee, patchouli and sandalwood. Andy Warhol Lexington Avenue will be available in 100ml and 50ml sizes in September and starts at $135.

Bond No. 9 Scent of Peace

Bond No. 9 is famous for their scents which celebrate New York neighborhoods but now they have taken on a global challenge by creating The Scent of Peace. The fragrance, which is unisex, has grapefruit and black currant notes with cedarwood and musk. The scent which launched this month costs $195 for the 3.4 ounce bottle and Bond No. 9 will donate $2 for every bottle that is purchased to UNICEF. intriguing idea, but I wish they were throwing a little more than $2 in UNICEF's direction.
