--The Malibu, California home of the late philanthropist Nancy M. Daly, the ex-wife of former Los Angeles Mayor Richard Riordan, has sold for more than $40 million.

--Robert Burns, the found of the Regent International hotel group and his wife Janice have bought 2 East 70th Street for $13.5 million
--Yerim Sow, a Senagalese telecom mogul has sold his three-bedroom apartment for $19 million.
--Bernard Ruiz-Picasso has purchased an Astor Place penthouse at 439 Lafayette Street for $7.2 million.
--Neil and Nancy Fire Breslau have sold their penthouse at 111 Central Park North. The couple had bought the apartment for $4.975 million with the intent of flipping it but ended up selling it for $4.525 million.
--Cary Coltun, a senior vice president at megabuilders Bovis Lend Lease, has just bought a 2,000-square-foot condo duplex with his wife Michelle for $3.1 million.
--The $12 million purchaser of Bob and Courtney Novogratz's revamped Nolita townhouse at 5 Centre Market Place is Gregory Soros, son of of one of the world's richest men, George Soros.
--Maura Mandt, who has produced the Espy Awards shows for ESPN just bought a co-op at 50 East 10th Street for $1.15 million.
--Actor Mark Linn-Baker, who was on the show "Perfect Strangers" recently sold his three-bedroom apartment at 17 West 71st Street for $2.85 million.

--Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones bought a brick, center-hall Colonial mansion in Bedford, New York for $5.25 million.
-- "Real Housewives of New York" star Jill Zarin and her husband Bobby toured a $3.9 million four-bedroom condo at the Rushmore development on Riverside Boulevard. The Zarins are currently living at 401 E. 60th St. in a three-bedroom, 1,956-square-foot apartment which was on the market last year but didn't sell.

--Retail broker Robert Futterman of RKF just closed on a $6.6 million penthouse at the Hudson Lofts condo building at 345 W. 13th St.
--Katy Perry and Lady Gaga might be New York City neighbors in TriBeCa. Perry and fiancé Russell Brand recently bought a $2.7 million penthouse duplex on North Moore Street in TriBeCa, and Lady Gaga, who's been on an extensive downtown apartment search, just visited a $14.95 million TriBeCa penthouse at 33 Vestry St.

--Bob Eubanks' home in Santa Ynez, California has had another price reduction. It was listed at $2.995 million and is now at $2.695 million. The listing is here.

Economist and Council of Economic Advisers member Austan Goolsbee, who works for the Obama administration, has sold a four-bedroom house in Lincoln Park for $849,000.

--LendingTree founder Douglas Lebda has sold his penthouse at the Legacy on East 84th Street. He bought the apartment $8.6 million in 2007 and it sold for $6.65 million to trader Garrett Bauer.
--Sean Cassidy,CEO of the public relations firm Dan Klores Communications, and his wife Hilary have paid $2.12 million for at 670 West End Avenue.
--via the NY Post, tennis player Elena Dementieva has paid $2.6 million for a condo at the Rushmore at 80 Riverside Boulevard.
--via Curbed, the Harlem mansion built by Barnum & Bailey co-founder James Bailey has sold for far less than the original $10 million price. The home which was most recently for $3.5 million sold for $1.4 million.

--James Maher, the CEO of BlackRock Kelso Capital, paid $8.1 million for a 14th-floor apartment at 730 Park, which is $8.4 million less than the apartment was first listed for when it went on the market back in April 2008.
--via the Real Deal, Ariel Cohen, an executive VP at Prudential Douglas Elliman, has convinced five of his neighbors at 15 Broad Street to put their apartments up for sale along with his own creating a 9,500-square-foot spread with eight bedrooms listed at $22.5 million.
--Philippe Weissberg, a managing partner at Madison Capital, and his wife Rosita have sold their three-bedroom co-op at 21 East 87th Street for $3.225 million.
--Citigroup general counsel Michael Helfer and his wife Ricki Tigert Helfer, a former FDIC chair and fellow at the Brookings Institution, have sold their apartment at the San Remo on Central Park West for $2.995 million.
--Jewelry designer Melissa Sohn and her husband Joshua have sold their apartment at 300 East 59th Street for $1.215 million.
--Tom Flexner, a former vice chairman of Bear Stearns who joined Citigroup in April of 2008 has closed on the sale of his four-story townhouse at 136 East 80th Street. The three-bedroom home, which Flexner first listed for $12 million last July sold for $8.3 million.
--via the NY Observer, Morgan Stanley CEO John Mack and his wife Christy appear to be the mystery buyers behind last month's purchase of the limestone carriage house at 165 East 70th Street. The 107-year-old home was sold to Mack in "distressed condition" for $13.5 million by Bunny Mellon, the 99-year-old widow of philanthropist Paul Mellon.

--A penthouse in the Parkwest development in West Drayton rented by sprinter Usain Bolt while he was training for the World Championships is listed for £324,950.
--A one-bedroom flat in Chelsea lived in by the late George Best has been sold for an estimated £450,000.
--Palm Beach socialite Jasmine Horowitz, Ivana Trump's best friend, is house hunting seeking a home in the Belgravia, Kensington or Chelsea areas. Meanwhile she has rented a Lennox Gardens flat near Harrods.

--Steve Black, co-chief executive officer of JP Morgan's investment bank, has sold his Greenwich, Connecticut estate for $18.9 million. It was being quietly shopped for $21 million.
--Former Goldman Sachs partner Donald C. Opatrny Jr. has sold his 25.5-acre estate for $18.7 million. It was originally listed at $23.9 million.
