BMW X5 Typhoon Black Pearl by G-Power

Ever wonder how much it would cost to make your crossover-utility vehicle go as fast as a supercar? There are plenty of firms that'll be glad to perform the conversion, but if you ask G-Power, the price tag comes to nearly three hundred thousand euros. The BMW tuner has just released its new Typhoon Black Pearl, based on the X5, and its performance is almost as staggering as its price: 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.5 seconds and a top speed in excess of 300 km/h (186 mph).

The boost comes from the supercharger and the new intake, exhaust, pistons, injectors and engine control unit which G-Power has fitted to the 4.8-liter V8 engine, producing an enormous 625 horsepower. In addition to the engine modifications, G-Power has also fitted a full aero kit and monstrous 23-inch wheels. Fortunately for the existing X5 owner, each component can be purchased and installed separately.
