Black Friday Hotel Packages

For those who take Black Friday really seriously, a hotel stay is the way to turn the day after Thanksgiving into its own kind of holiday. The various hotel packages vary. Some offer gift certificates and coupons to local malls. Some promise to get you into the stores early and bring you back in time for a nap. Others will fortify you with a hearty breakfast, early morning coffee or a snack pack to keep you from getting hungry while you shop. Below are just a few of some of the packages available around the country.

East Coast

Hotel Providence in Providence, Rhode Island offers a Black Friday Girls Escape. For $129 per night you receive one night at the hotel, a welcome amenity full of helpful shopping details for downtown merchants as well as Providence Place Mall stores, energy drinks, snacks, and to-go coffee cups for your early morning wake up, pedicure to enjoy after a hard day of shopping and access to the hotel's Personal Shopping Butler who can carry your bags and more. The package is valid only November 18 and 19, 2010.

New York's Holiday Inn Elmira Riverview 'Black Friday' Survival Package includes overnight accommodations for one, an early morning wake up call, a $5.00 Gift Certificate to The Christmas House, breakfast-on-the-go bag, an all day energy pack to keep your energy up to get you though your day and two rolls of wrapping paper, a bag of bows, tape and scissors to wrap the great presents you got so you don't have to sneak them into the house when you arrive home. The package costs $129.95 per package for 1 night (Friday, 11/26/10) or check in the night before on Thursday, 11/25 Package price $229.95 (11/25/10 & 11/26/10).

Mid-Atlantic

The Dolce Shop 'til You Drop Deal at the Dolce Valley Forge in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania has a $25 gift card to King of Prussia Mall. After shopping, enjoy a complimentary drink at our T. Burke's Lounge and the next morning enjoy a scrumptious full American breakfast. Rates range from $140 to $215.

Outrageous Neiman Marcus Black Friday Sale, 9-Noon

If there's a Neiman Marcus in your town, get up bright and early on Friday, November 27 -- all Neiman Marcus stores nationwide are participating in an amazing deal: If you spend $100 or more, you'll get a $50 gift certificate. That's essentially a 50% off deal, if you happen to be spending right around $100.

This is only taking place for three hours: 9:00 am to noon on Friday, November 27. The news was just released today, so there's a good chance that not many people have heard about it.

A couple $100 items: Electronic Wine Chiller, Food Steamer , and the "Clef du Vin" Wine Aging Tester (I didn't even know that existed). The Lamina Small Footed Bowl above is $125. The deal is only in stores and only while supplies last (so if they're out of the item you want, unfortunately, you won't get the deal).

Also, the gift certificate must be used by December 6 -- but for the savvy holiday shopper, that should be no problem. Some exclusions may apply, so see a sales associate for details.
