Last year we mentioned that luxury pajama and boxer shorts maker Birds of Sausalito has partnered with Mulholland Brothers on a line of leather goods. Now we get to give away something from the line just in time for Father's Day. What Dad wouldn't love this leather shave kit. The kit is made from deep brown leather they call "stout" no doubt after the dark beer. It has a low-profile shape with reinforced corners and is designed to be tucked easily anywhere for travel but it's so handsome you might just want to use it when you are home as well. A zippered top wraps around three sides of the case and the interior compartment is lined with indestructible nylon. The interior is wide open without sewn-in dividers, to handle odd-shaped items. One interior zippered envelope in the kit's top. It sells for $150.

Win Birds Of Sausalito Boxer Shorts

Women aren't the only ones who deserve fancy underthings on Valentine's Day. Today's giveaway will help even the score for the men. We're giving away two pairs of Birds Boxer Shorts from Birds of Sausalito. These are no ordinary undies. The boxers are hand sewn and made of soft, touchable 100 percent Pima cotton.

The classic fit shorts have a flat front with a two-button tab closure using mother-of-pearl buttons and a single needle stitch sewing technique. The elastic waist starts at the side of the hip and wraps around the back. The leg is shorter and full, and there is plenty of room in the seat, which is double-lined, to minimize wear and tear.

The custom fit boxer has a curved yoke through the hips. Three buttons secure the boxers in place, so there is no elastic, except a very small strip in the back for ease. They are slim through the hips and a little longer in the leg and a double lined diamond shaped gusset means no center seam where the legs meet for an extra room fit.

Birds of Sausalito Leather Goods

Our friends from Birds of Sausalito who recently helped us giveaway a pair of luxury pajamas also has a new line of leather goods. The company has co-branded with San Francisco's Mulholland Brothers,a company we've covered for their line of quality bags before. The new Birds of Sausalito line is done in a deep brown leather they call "stout" no doubt after the dark beer. The weekend bag shown here is known as the Shorthorn and is a classic overnight bag with a generous outside pocket, rolled leather handles and a detachable padded shoulder strap. When you unzip the top center zipper the bag's top stands up and open allowing for easy packing. The bag is nylon lined and inside there is mostly open space except for a single zippered envelope pocket. It's the sort of classic bag that never goes out of style and attains a certain well-worn gravitas as it ages. It sells for $795.
