$218 Trillion Phone Bill
Do you think that your phone company might be overcharging you? Think again. A man in Malaysia received a phone bill
for $218 trillion. To add insult to injury,
the bill included a notice stating that he would have to "pay up within 10 days or face prosecution." The
company, Telekom Malaysia Berhad, is reportedly looking into the case, but has not yet determined whether the bill was
a mistake on their part or whether the phone line was used illegally.
I don't know how much your phone company charges, but I think that several entire countries would all have to be using the line illegally to get the bill up to $218 trillion in a month.
