Usually the homes we look at are up for sale but today we are looking at the home happily inhabited by poker player and fashionista Beth Shak. We've been following Shak for a while now and know that she is a woman with a busy schedule and a serious love of the latest trends.

Luxist Guest Post: Poker Player Beth Shak's Favorite Las Vegas Spots

Poker player Beth Shak gives us her view of Las Vegas in this special guest post.

This year when I returned to the 2010 World Series of Poker for my 5th tournament, I was pleasantly surprised by the accommodations waiting for me. I decided to stay at the five-star Mandarin Oriental Hotel, which opened in December 2009. It is important to note that I did not stay in a suite, because the amenities were better than some of the nicer suites I've stayed in.

The Mandarin Oriental was beautiful and quiet; I didn't feel like I was in Las Vegas after leaving the World Series of Poker.

Highlights:
Push-of-a-button accommodations: the room is completely plugged in, including electronic curtains to hide the gorgeous, lit-up view when it's time to rest.
Amazing closet: This is not just a closet; it is more like a dressing room, completely separated from the actual room.
The bathroom: The bathroom has an entire make-up area, Bulgari products, gorgeous Eastern design and – get this – a flat iron. Nobody does that! I was beyond impressed.
Gamble-free. I was able to sit back and relax, and save the games for WSOP.
The best concierge, Joe: maybe he can move to the East Coast and be my assistant!

Two Reasons To Head To Atlantic City This Weekend: Win Or Give

This weekend is a good one to head to the Borgata and the Water Club in Atlantic City. The Borgata is hosting a Father's Day Giveaway offering prizes every hour on the hour from noon to 7 p.m. Prizes include a Borgata weekend getaway package, Borgata gift cards, a $2,500 shopping spree at at Hearts on Fire® or Borgata Jewels and at 7 p.m. a Porsche Boxster.

To enter insert your My Borgata Card into any slot machine or open a table games rating from 10am to 6:45pm on 06/19/10 and 06/20/10. Winners' names will be announced overhead and displayed on television screens throughout the casino and winners will have 30 minutes to claim the prize at My Borgata Center.

Should you be feeling philanthropic head over to the Borgata's sister hotel The Water Club on Saturday June 19 from 4-5 p.m. That's when our favorite poker player Beth Shak will be auctioning off two bottle of Ace of Spades champagne, the proceeds of which are going to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia- designed to reduce the suffering and improve the quality of life for children with serious, life-threatening illnesses.

Poker Player Beth Shak's New Lucky Shoes

Poker players on the whole are a superstitious lot so it's no surprise that champion poker player Beth Shak takes her new "lucky shoes" seriously. Designer Walter Steiger created the lethal pair of hot pink patent leather "Muse" shoes specifically for Beth complete with her trademark spade symbol stitched into the shoe at the top of the heel. She'll be putting her luck to the test by wearing only this pair throughout her upcoming World Series of Poker tournament at the Rio All-Suites Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Walter Steiger's general Muse collection is available to everyone else exclusively at Walter Steiger retail stores.
