The Commons in Lexington Center

Lexington, Massachusetts, a bedroom community outside Boston which may be familiar to American History buffs, is also one of the priciest places to live in Massachusetts. The tree-lined streets are mainly full of single family homes so news of a luxury condo project is intriguing. The Commons in Lexington Center is a 30-unit project, that will replace the 90-room Battle Green Inn in Lexington village. The new condos will also have retail space on the ground floor. According to a recent article in the Boston Globe, no one is sorry to see the old inn go and there is already a great deal of buzz around the project. Demolition of the old hotel should start next month and then the new building will go up. Units start at $550,000 and go over $1 million.
