The cabin is made of silicon-free safety glass and has seats and shelving of Robinia wood. All it needs is a television and you could spend the whole day in here.

A Formal Bath Remodel for $45,000

It's a shame that there are no "before" pictures of this bathroom remodel, but from the description as a "corridor-style" room, only 3x10-feet, with "a small shower, a toilet area that was not separated, and an entrance door that blocked movement when it was open," it sounds like it was built by someone who didn't realize that a bathroom is a fairly well-used part of the home. Rather than continue to live with their outdated master bath, the homeowners looked for a way to make better use of the space, turning it into a formal, more elegant space. For a final cost of $45,000, they used Sea Pointe Design, who expanded the bathroom by converting a nearby closet into part of the room, separating the toilet into its own walled space and adding recessed lighting. The closet space became the new shower with multiple shower heads and is almost the size of the original bathroom at 4x6-feet. They also added granite countertops and sinks made of gold glass from Oceana.

Kohler sok Infinity Tub

Water continuously flows over the sides of the Kohler sok Infinity Tub, pouring into a built-n channel that catches and recirculates the water for a calming, soothing soak. Not only does the tub look stunning when filled with water, but its unique design actually allows you to soak in a deep tub comfortably, without worrying about extra drains on the sides of the tub to prevent overflows - since this tub is meant to do precisely that. Recommended as the perfect fixture for the tubs, Kohler offers unique wall or ceiling mount spouts to fill them, shooting clear streams of water gracefully into the basin. Units start at $8,912.40.

Spa Lights

Filed under: Gadgets, Yachts & Sailing

Bathroom candles are fun, but lights are even niftier. These battery-operated spa lights stick to the bottom of the tub or can float on the surface. Either way, the warm yellow light creates a glow one would normally only get at a high-end spa or hotel. Sold at I Want One of Those, a pack of two lights costs about $13. But of course, it's probably best to get a few packs.

Kohler's Water Tiles

Get the ultimate showering experience with Kohler's Water Tiles, which will allow you to direct water in any direction, from any space in the shower. Each tile has a shower head built into it, so you can have as many or as few shower heads as you want without losing any shower space to obtrusive plumbing fixtures. There are three different types of tiles, but all will allow you to wrap yourself in water. Two tiles are flush with the wall, featuring 22 and 54 individual nozzles. The third tile, also with 54-nozzles, is angled and allows you to direct the flow of water at a 45-degree angle to compliment the other tiles. The tiles start at $123.80 per tile and professional installation is recommended to ensure peak performance.
