Between The Bottle And The Box, There Is The Barrel
Filed under: Wine
A lot of people are cutting back on their wine budget but not necessarily their wine consumption. If you fall into that category Sonoma-based Red Truck Wines has a new product halfway between the bottle and the box. It will be rolling out a three-liter mini barrel full of Red Truck Red Wine. Red Truck Red Wine is a blend of Syrah, Petite Sirah, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot. The barrel has an easy-to-use spout and can keep wine fresh for up to six weeks. A single bottle of the Red Truck Red is around $10. The barrel holds four bottles worth and sells for around $30. It will be sold at Sam's Club stores nationwide.
