Worn and weather-beaten is always interesting when it comes to clothes because it usually means they've really been lived in and there are some good stories to be had. This Slashed Army T-Shirt from Balmain is the short-cut way to achieve that look, coming pre-destroyed so you get all the well-worn character with none of the experience. All for just $1,625.

Personally I think this look goes in with torn jeans -- the holes are only cool if they happened naturally. If this was a t-shirt that was actually worn by an army guy and got all those tears out in the field I would totally love it. But alas it's not, just 100% cotton with "distressed hole detail." Black leather and chains gets and a little more friendly when blended with diamanté-embellished heart and flower charms (notice all the hearts are sitting sideways...?) and creates a sort of 'badass little girl biker' vibe. The Balmain design house creates unapologetically bold clothing. Especially when it comes to their jackets. They are overly structured with exaggerated shoulders and adorned with pieces that look as though they can be found on window treatments - but it all works. And with famous stars like Rihanna and Beyonce having been photographed wearing Balmain jackets, Christophe Decarnin's designs have only increased in popularity. His designs look amazingly beautiful on the runway and on celebrities but may not always translate so easily into the real world. However, the Balmain Studded Military Jacket may be the exception. Made from cotton canvas, it's slightly tapered for a well tailored fit and beautifully decorated with silver studs and military patches along the along the front, sleeves, and lapel. Studs really are popular this year, and this Punk Suede Studded Bag by Balmain is a perfect example. Suede is such a great fabric for the fall and winter and this time it gets a 'tough luxe' treatment with studs of varying size and color laid into the front flap in a dense, abstract design that kinda reminds me of animal print. There's an exterior pocket tucked under the front flap, and the interior of the bag features a full lining and zip-top closure. If you like it you better love it, as it's a bit pricey at $3,925.

Worn by Miss Switzerland, the Balmain Madrigal Chrono Lady Oval watch is a good looker with other attractive qualities. Price and convenience being among them. Crystal is sapphire, and the case is water resistant to 50 meters. A good value from Balmain, and you can know that Miss Switzerland 2009 herself is also enjoying one of these watches herself.
