Remy Martin Releases Louis XIII Bottles

This fine champagne cognac from Rémy Martin is showcased in a 70cl carafe Baccarat crystal decanter with fleur-de-lys stopper. Although its size and price cannot compare with the Louis XIII Black Pearl Magnum cognac this more portable bottle offers its consumer the finest champagne cognac with rich notes of jasmine, saffron and five spice aromas along with subtle flavors of fig, sandalwood and ginger. Made from the most premier grapes from the Grand Champagne region this century-old cognac has been tediously tended to and perfected by three generations of Cellar Masters. It will cost you £1200 for your own personal stash.

Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle Gift Set

Here's a rather elegant and understated alternative to some of the more ostentatious champagne accessories and gift sets we've reported on in the past. The Grand Siècle Coffret is designed to showcase Laurent-Perrier's delectable multi-vintage prestige cuvee, Grand Siècle. The limited edition set contains a magnum of Grand Siècle and six hand-blown Baccarat crystal champagne flutes, of a design specially commissioned by Laurent-Perrier in 1965 to mirror the upturned shape of the Grand Siècle bottle, all in a custom black case with pull-out drawers. The Coffret costs $3,100 and will be available in time for the holidays. Laurent-Perrier, founded in 1812 and located in Tours-sur-Marne, France, is the world's largest family-owned champagne house.

Bombay Sapphire's "Revelation"

Described as a "collaboration between the drinks, crystal, art and design worlds," Bombay Sapphire Revelation is a collection of 5 absolutely gorgeous bottles. Bombay Sapphire is the drink (of course), Baccarat is the crystal, Garrard is the art/jeweller, and Karim Rashid is the bottle designer. The Revelation line consists of 5 bottles shaped like enormous jewels, all the same with the exception of their caps -- each uniquely decorated with diamonds and sapphires.

The entire collection is worth $1 million, but each bottle (priced at $200,000) will be displayed separately at one of 5 airports around the world (New York, London, Dubai, Sydney, and Singapore) starting around the end of March with proceeds to benefit The Smile Train charity. And along with the beautiful Revelation bottle the new owners will also receive a years supply of Bombay Sapphire gin.

Baccarat Plans A Hotel Chain

The latest luxury brand to plan a hotel chain is Baccarat. The hotels will have between 80 to 250 rooms per property and of course the hotels will have fine furnishings including Baccarat chandeliers. Details are scant at this point. We know that the first Baccarat hotel will be in Wailea, Hawaii and open in 2010. This property will have 193 condo-hotel rooms from one-bedroom to four-bedroom residences. Other Baccarat hotels in the offing will include properties in the Caribbean, Europe and the Far East.

Baccarat Heart Pendant

The Baccarat Heart Pendant features a hand-crafted blood-red cube of Baccarat crystal suspended from a simple black cotton cord. The overall look is quite casual when compared to some of the diamond-studded Valentine's Day necklaces available, but the finely etched hearts on the cube are sure to get noticed. Measuring 18" in length, the cord can be doubled up to form a choker, nestling the cube at the base of the neck, or left long and dangling. Price: $280.

Baccarat Un Parfait Boxed Set

Created by Phillipe Starck for Baccarat, the Un Parfait Boxed Set is an exceptional collection of glassware. The set consists of six black goblets, each made from full-lead crystal. One of the goblets is perfect (un parfait) and is numbered and signed by Starck. Each of the others (cinq imparfaits) has a subtle, but purposeful, flaw and is inscribed with a quote from Jean Cocteau, "A l'impossible je suis tenu," which translates to "I am obliged to do the impossible." Price: $1,999.

Baccarat Reflex Vase

Really exclusive gifts can be difficult to track down because there are just so few of them. The Baccarat Reflex Vase is one such object. Only five of the very-limited edition vases were produced and they are exclusively being sold at Neiman Marcus. The handcrafted vases were designed by Nicholas Triboulot and are made of full lead crystal. Each stands 15.75" high and are both signed and numbered. Price: $10,000.

Hypnotic by Baccarat

Hypnotic is a new line of crystal jewelry that was recently introduced by Baccarat. The stones are known as scarabee, a type of fully-leaded crystal, and come in blue, yellow and clear. The unique thing about this crystal is that it is not clear. Instead, the stones shimmer with a wide array of colors, producing an "hypnotic" effect when you look at them. They yellow scarabee seems to be nearly 1/3 more expensive than the blue, while the clear crystals are the least expensive of the set. All pieces are set in either sterling silver or 18K gold in this collection. The Hypnotic Cocoon Necklace comes in blue, clear and yellow (pictured here) and the pendant dangles on a 24-inch chain. Prices for this style are $990 for clear, $1,150 for blue, and $3,490 for yellow.

Estee Lauder Oscar Swag

And the Oscar swagfest begins... Estee Lauder has announced their 2006 Estee Lauder Luxury Beauty Spa Experience for nominees to indulge, relax and prepare for their big night with a spa experience. The Estee Lauder "Dream Team" will travel to each nominee and let them choose a customized spa day. Those in need of a little boost can check out the Perfectionist Power Facial by Dr. Jay Calvert which includes a light laser procedure and then a Power Patch placed on the area around the eye for 20 minutes. And for sunless tan addicts (like Charlize Theron) there is new Winning Glow Tanning Treatment which provides a full face and body exfoliation and bronzing with Estee Lauder's sunless tanners. A Bentley Continental Flying Spur will transport nominees to and from their Spa appointments and chauffeur the Estee Lauder Dream Team to the nominees on location. And of course there is a swag bag which includes Estee Lauder products, Manolo Blahnik sandals, Michael Kors sunglasses, a tiger's eye necklace, a set of Harcourt black crystal wine goblets and La Grande Dame Veuve Clicquot champagne (very similar to last year's offering).
