Like fellow watchmaker Jaeger Le Coultre, Audemars Piguet has come out with some showstopper jewelry pieces. There are two sets of matching 18K white gold and diamond watches and necklaces for women, the Coup de Theatre and Carnet de Bal. Both watches use the AP calibre 2046 movement with manual winding (18 jewels) that beats at a frequency of 21 600 vph and provides 42 hours power reserve. The Coup de Theatre pieces are shown on the left and features a brick like arrangement of diamonds punctuated by an exuberant spray of bezel set diamonds. The Carnet de Bal pieces are more of a floral comet with brilliant, marquise, pear and baguette diamonds including bezel set stones mounted on trailing strands of white gold accented with gold beads. Audemars Piguet has introduced the new Ladies' Jules Audemars collection, an elegant collection of white or pink gold models with a 29 mm case,silver-colored or white mother-of-pearl dials and moiré satin straps. Each has an hour circle punctuated with Roman numerals and the centers feature either a spiral flinqué or diamond-pavé motif and small seconds at 6 o'clock. The pink gold watches have chocolate brown straps while the white gold watches have satin straps in black or midnight blue. The watches also have a sapphire crystal caseback. Chanel and watchmaker Audemars Piguet have collaborated on a new version of Chanel's popular J12 collection. The J12 calibre 3125 is done in 18K yellow gold and black ceramic. The 42mm case is done in ceramic and 18kt yellow gold and it has a ceramic bracelet with a gold buckle. The watch also has a sapphire crystal and display back. The movement is the automatic Audemars caliber AP3125 with 40 jewels, beating at 21,600 bph and with a 60 hour power reserve.
Audemars Piguet is offering two new versions of their Royal Oak Offshore watch. The Royal Oak Offshore Shaquille O'Neal Chronograph is 48 mm in diameter and is done in the white and red colors of the Miami Heat. On the dial the 3 and 2 numerals are inverted and done in red (32 is Shaq's number).– a nod to those who will recognise Shaquille's famous number 32. In the white gold version with a diamond bezel, his number is done in rubies. Three are 960 of the stainless steel version and 96 of the gold watches.
The Royal Oak Offshore Arnold's All-Stars Chronograph has a 48mm pink gold case and is meant to honor Schwarzenegger's Arnold's All Stars afterschool program for middle-school children. It has a special engraved caseback with an Arnold inscription but otherwise it seems fairly standard.
The latest watch from Audemars Piguet is the Royal Oak Offshore Alinghi Team Chronograph. The watches showcase carbon, taking their inspiration from the Class America boats which use carbon fiber for lightness. The watches use a selfwinding movement with a power reserve of up to 60 hours. Nautically inspired details include a red-rimmed six-hour counter at 6 o'clock, the twenty-minute counter at 9 o'clock that has an openworked hand shaped like a ship's prow and the Alinghi logo that takes the place usually reserved for the 3 o'clock numeral. The countdown aperture in the upper right-hand part of the dial counts off the minutes prior to the start of a regatta and gradually becomes red as it nears the moment when the boats cross the start line. The 44mm case has a forged carbon bezel and is available with a case of forged carbon (a series of 1,300), 18K pink gold (a series of 600), or platinum (a series of 107). I haven't always been a fan off the Royal Oak watches before but I rather like the rugged carbon look here even if the watch does seem a bit bulky. More shots of the various versions after the jump.

Yesterday we took a look at how the
numbers on the dial change the look of a watch, today's watch features two types of numbers on the same face. Time Zone has pictures of the
Audemars Piguet Millenary Le Temps Ovale models that will be unveiled at the SIHH 2006 watch fair. The new oval dial is
inspired by the Colosseum in Rome. It has a 45mm case in rose or white gold with a sapphire crystal and a display back.
