Multi-colored glitter is not something that usually sounds good in a description but in this case it certainly looks good in reality. Anya Hindmarch's Valorie Glitter-Finish Leather Clutch is a leather envelope with an all-over glitter finish treatment, goldtone hardware including a prominent designer-stamped twist lock fastening on the fold-over front, and a lining of gold leather and beige suede with one pouch pocket. The color is called "Old Pink" and this clutch does have plenty of old-time glamour as well as contemporary appeal. It's an artistic and somewhat unexpected way to wear bling. $395

Anya Hindmarch Rossum woven leather clutch

Sometimes I really wish I could talk to the designer, was Anya Hindmarch going for 'robotic wicker' when she created this Rossum Woven Leather Clutch? Somehow I doubt it. I don't see it as a negative though, as I actually kind of like the contradiction of the cold, modern, and stark metallic gold finish with the old-timey warmth that comes from the woven pattern and slightly imperfect shaping. It's a simple fold-over style clutch with no shoulder or wrist strap but there's a large stiff tassel that dangles off one of the bottom corners. Plus if you look closely you can see Hindmarch's signature bow woven into the pattern on the flap. Inside it has zip and pouch pockets and is lined in designer-stamped brown twill. $545

The Anya Hindmarch Multi-Glitter Clutch is sparkly enough to blind your rivals at this year's holiday party.

This face of this darling clutch could give a Twilight sparkly vampire a run for their money. It's not just the usual silver glitter, it's a rainbow of dazzling flecks that create this shimmering, metallic effect. Somehow, the red and goldtone clasp adds sophistication to the whimsical sheen, and the simplicity of the shape ensures that this will be perceived as fanciful, but not frivolous.

This clutch is just 9"W X 6"H X ¼"D, so it won't appear over-the-top. Truly, this achieves just the right amount of sparkle to draw attention (and compliments!) without being vulgar and obvious. Furthermore, with its rainbow of glitz, it complements just about any color with ... flying colors. (Sorry.) The gleaming facade also adds texture to an ensemble, and could easily take an LBD from humdrum to fabulous.

The Anya Hindmarch Junie Canvas Bow Tote is adorable. Just look at it.

This friendly design is so smart and sweet, it calls forth images of Mary Tyler Moore skipping around her Minneapolis apartment, wondering if Rhoda's coming for a visit. We love the way the smattering of eyelets feminizes this durable canvas, we love the cute, almost nautical rope handle, and the signature bow basically seals the deal. This is one great tote bag.

The bag is 18"W X 12"H X 7½"D and features a practical brown cotton interior with pockets and a pen slot. You could use this for shopping or as a mom bag, or even for an overnight if you pack carefully. Personally, I'd use it for a picnic basket. I'd even buy a blanket to match.

Cunard's New Queen Elizabeth to Have a Fortnum & Mason Onboard

Cunard's new Queen Elizabeth luxury liner (above), successor of the QE2, will have a branch of London's famed food emporium Fortnum & Mason, holder of a Royal Warrant, onboard when it sets sail in October. The move marks the first time ever in Fortnum & Mason's 300-year history that its luxurious products have been available to purchase at sea. The shipboard Fortnum's will join a host of other British brands setting up shop on the Queen Elizabeth, including men's style mecca Hackett of London, Scotland's famed Harris Tweed, fashion designer Anya Hindmarch and famed fragrance merchant Penhaligons. Several brands have also announced special items produced exclusively for the ship which will only be available onboard. The Queen Elizabeth can accommodate over 2,000 passengers in its luxe Art Deco-style interior.

I love pretty neutrals that aren't beige or brown, and although this Anya Hindmarch Marano Mirrored-Leather Clutch is almost too basic it does a nice job of incorporating the season's metallic trend in a way that will stay relevant for years to come. This box clutch looks silver but is really a very pale gold. It features a gold-tone frame, a designer-stamped push lock closure on the top, one internal pouch pocket and is fully lined in soft beige suede. No shoulder strap, detachable or otherwise, but a great addition to any evening ensemble. $530

Summer farmer's markets mean I need to keep my totes available in my car at all times in case I swing into one on a random day or see a farmstand on the side of the road. Anya Hindmarch's totes have spoken to a specific use in the past like her Wine Tote but what specifically does her 'Available' tote say about its owner? I'm 'available for drinks tonight'? I'm 'available to carry your groceries'? Thankfully the other side states you are 'Unavailable' so you have an out if you happen to suggest false advertising.

Anya's limited edition tote in her signature slogan style is encapsulated in red canvas with two patent orange handles on top, a reinforced base and interior zip pocket for small essentials. For $230 it can hold a bunch of goodies at 15" x 13" x 8" with a 6" handle drop.

Whatever voice you give your tote I like how Anya gets one thinking and, for me, giggling. Hee hee.

Anya Hindmarch to Design Collection for Barbour

UK accessories designer Anya Hindmarch, whose celebrity followers include Scarlett Johansson, Sienna Miller, Madonna, Claudia Schiffer and Reese Witherspoon, is designing a new collection of jackets for classic British outerwear company Barbour. "It was fascinating working in the archives, seeing the Barbour stories behind some of the coats from explorers, military men and heroines," Hindmarch tells Vogue UK. "We have respected the original design but played with the cut, fit and the details. It has been fun to add a little Anya Hindmarch style to such an iconic British brand." The capsule collection of four pieces will be available this autumn from the designer's standalone stores as well as selected Barbour retailers worldwide. Barbour, which was founded in 1894, holds Royal Warrants from HM Queen Elizabeth II, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, and HRH The Prince of Wales.
