A Pricey Pad For The Jolie-Pitts

When money is no object it's always interesting to see what people choose as far as living arrangements go, and obviously money is no object for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. So what did they choose? According to The New York Post they've landed at The Waldorf Towers in New York City. The 6,000 sq ft luxury apartment includes 6 bedrooms, an enormous kitchen, multiple terraces with sweeping views of the city, room service, maid service, and a 24hr concierge.

And perhaps more valuable to the couple than anything is the fact that the new $100,000 per month pad is close to both the United Nations (where Jolie is a goodwill ambassador) and their son Maddox's private French school.

Brangelina's Retro Fantasy House for Sale

While Brad and Angelina don't own (and to my knowledge never have) this beautiful 1957 Rancho Mirage property, it was the site of a memorable photo shoot featured in W magazine shortly after the pair got together. The glam, retro shoot had a perfect backdrop in the Kenaston Residence, which is a landmark residence designed by architect E. Stewart Williams. It has been completely restored, staying true to its mid-century modernist roots, with natural rock, wood and frosted glass. It has a large swimming pool, partially surrounded by the U-shaped house and lots of floor-to-ceiling windows. All the retro-chic furnishings, including Eames chairs and Nelson lamps, are included.

In terms of details, the house is 5,000-sq. ft. with 4 bedrooms (2 master suites) and 3/5 baths. It is on a 1/2 acre lot with 50 palm trees. The asking price is $2,875,000 and there is a property tax discount due to its landmark status. Lots of photos of the house after the jump.

Shiloh Jolie-Pitt Starts First Trend

Clearly headed for celebrity at only a few days old, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt sparked a rush on "The Pots and Pans Band" tee that she wore on the cover of People Magazine last week. The tee shirt is made by Kingsley and is made of ultra-soft cotton, which is comfortable enough for even a baby's sensitive skin. The screen printed design has the name of the band, a picture of the "instruments" and a skull and crossbones to give young rockers the right image. The shirts are selling out all over the place, but Intuition has them for $38 each.
