Tissue Pochette, Elegant Style or Tacky Overkill?

Even if you're always done up to the teeth there's always room for more style -- even if it's just in the way you carry your kleenex. Tissue Pochettes by Victore NYC hope that's the case anyway. They're tissue-sized leather pouches available in gold ("God Bless You") and silver ("Ah-choo Silver").

Interesting idea, and it is a classic and simple design (although I'm not crazy about metallics), but I can't help but think that for something so simple as tissues it might be more stylish not to have a special case? Henri Bendel Launches Accessories Line

Depending on who you ask there can just never be enough handbags and accessories in the world, and for those who agree there's a new line coming out from Henri Bendel just in time for the holidays. Soon to be joining the envious ranks of the Henri Bendel makeup cases will be a whole group of new items including jewelry, handbags, and wallets.

One signature item, available at the Fifth Avenue store, is the 1907 Centennial stripe East-West tote that will retail for $450. But if that's not your thing there's plenty of other options like cuffs, bangles, pendant necklaces, and earrings to name a few.

FriezeFrames Sunglasses

The new sunglasses from FriezeFrames certainly aren't subtle but that's what makes them so fun. The sunglasses set with Swarovski crystals have a retro-chic Old Hollywood type of style that seems perfect for lounging poolside and flipping through gossip magazines. Designer Rhonda Spiegel found design inspiration in her collection of 1950s rhinestone-studded pieces. Each style is named for a Greek or Roman goddess (and Pegasus, the horse, for some reason). Crystals are frequently added as accents on women's clothes and handbags, especially during the winter when dark colors need a bit of flash to dress them up. Cartier Santos 100 Belt

The big-buckled status belts, which proudly display their brand affiliation in large letters in what can appear to be an almost cowboy-esque style, are fine with jeans and other casual wear, but less obvious belts are staples of a complete wardrobe. Third Eye Jewelry From Legge and Briane

I've got a love/hate relationship with the use of eyes as a design theme. On the one hand I find the disembodied eye a bit creepy, on the other hand there is nothing quite as compelling as an eye staring out something that is not a face. The third eye jewels from Legge and Braine, a British jeweler that specializes in innovative glass jewelry, give you a choice of eyes. They have a golden lion's eye, an orange and red owl eye and this ibex eye all rendered in glass and set in sterling silver. The ibex eye, which sells for £230 is, according to the company, a symbol of the seeker and of sexuality.
