Buy Gisele's Jewels

Filed under: Jewelry, Auctions, Celebrity Shopping

You may not look like Gisele Bundchen but if you have the money you can own her jewelry. The Brazilian bombshell who is much beloved on our pages, is selling a six carat diamond pendant estimated at $120,000 to $150,000 as well as a 3.35 carat Sabbadini yellow diamond ring estimated at $15,000 to $20,000 as part of the Christie's Jewels: The New York Sale auction on October 15. Gisele hasn't revealed who bought the pieces for her but I'm guessing it wasn't her current quarterback squeeze Tom Brady and rumors abound over whether her ex-boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio was the mystery purchaser. A portion of proceeds from the auction will go to the Diamond Empowerment Fund.

Kroc Necklace Sells For Over $2 Million

The fabulous jewels of McDonald's  heiress Joan Kroc brought in close to $7 million at Christie's  “Magnificent Jewels” auction on Tuesday. The gorgeous necklace shown here went for over $2 million to a private collector in Europe. According to the San Diego Union-Tribune this auction is just part of converting Kroc's assets to cash. When she died in 2003, she left around $1.5 billion to the Salvation Army to create community centers. Christie's will also auction off her artwork at several upcoming sales on April 19, May 3 and May 25. Other furniture and decorative arts items will be part of a Christie's House Sale in June and proceeds will benefit the Salvation Army. Also, as we mentioned earlier, her Rancho Santa Fe estate is on the market.

Check out the beautiful necklace shown here, the most expensive piece in the Kroc collection. The pear-shaped fancy intense yellow diamond is a 42.13 carat gobstopper. It hangs from a pear and circular-cut diamond two-row necklace mounted in platinum and 18K gold. This red-carpet-worthy beauty is a Harry Winston and is estimated to sell for $1 to $1.5 million. Other treats in the auction include a rare blue-gray diamond ring surrounded by pink diamonds and an unmounted 50-plus carat diamond ready to be mounted in the setting of your choice.
