He may be the fastest man on land but how will he do on water? Award winning sprinter Usain Bolt has sponsored a yacht named Jamaica Lighting Bolt in the Clipper Around the Wold race. The skipper of the yacht, Peter Stirling has said that Usain Bolt will likely come on board the boat as a crew member during the race than runs from Panama to Jamaica, the shortest leg in this global event. The yacht arrived in Qingdao, China earlier this week to take part in the sixth round of the race and is currently ranked third. The fleet will depart from Panama on May 12 and should get to Jamaica by May 18. The Clipper Round the World Yacht Race, held every two years, is the largest amateur yacht race in the world. What's interesting about this race is that only the skipper is a professional. The crews are formed of volunteers who have paid to join the adventure. The four-part Clipper Training includes challenging courses that prepare novices to compete in the exciting world of ocean racing.
