Linge Roset & Livingspace Create The 2010 Winter Games Ottoman

Piece Unique is a term the watch industry likes to throw around when an item is a one-off piece. It is meant to get you excited about the brand. Often the item is already sold or promised to an important client of the brand. In this instance we are talking about a piece unique item of furniture. One that is meant to take care of your feet, or act as a quick seat for your rear. However, while Linge Roset indicated the piece is unique, there will be a whole collection of items in this style of "low seating" furniture soon.

The stylish item is the 2010 Winter Game Ottoman. Design by Noe Duchaufour-Lawrence and made by Linge Roset in collaboration with Livingspace Vancouver, it is meant to celebrate the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and has a design that is influenced by the Canadian flag.

Looking too good to put shoes on, but also too comfy to resist, the Moroccan style ottoman is made from red and white wool, with the seat being stitched with a maple leaf motif. It makes for a very chic looking quilted cover, and is among the fanciest Canada themed pieces of furniture I've ever seen (or the only one I've seen). The collection is also due to include a fixed or swiveling armchair, love seat, sofa, and a foot stool. I will have to look out for those, and they are due in stores but this summer.
