Old Lion Manor, Estate of the Day

As the LA Times Hot Property column mentions, today's estate once belonged to "The Exorcist" author William Peter Blatty but that's not really what makes this Hidden Hills, California mansion so extraordinary. Old Lion Manor is a three acre playground that includes a waterfall with a cave, statuary, a theater with seating for 28, a spa with a massage room, wine cellar with a tasting area and more. The facilities include a tennis court, volleyball court, equestrian ring and stables and a chessboard with life-size pieces. There is even a mechanical bull. The house has recently been rented out for parties (numerous photos of the pool stuffed with people can be found online) and the interior has a bit of a theme park feel with elaborate murals and heavy furniture. It is listed at $27.5 million.
