Wiesmann Announces New Twin-Turbo V8 MF5
Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos

The cancellation of BMW's esteemed V10 engine may have been bad enough news for Bimmerfiles, but the engine's discontinuation was arguably worse for Wiesmann. The bespoke German niche manufacturer created their top-of-the-line Roadster and GT MF5 models around the ten-cylinder engine. But they've announced they're not missing a beat, either.
Starting next year, the revised MF5 roadster and GT will be available with BMW's new twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 with a massive 555 horsepower. A less powerful version will also be available in the MF4, while the MF3 carries on with a 343-horsepower six.
