UGG/Swarovski Boots Show City Love

Last year we brought you news of the UGG Australia-Jimmy Choo boots collaboration. Now the popular boots that many love (and some love to hate) are available in new city-centric versions. These new UGG Australia boots are emblazoned with Swarovski crystals for major markets. Shown above is the New York City version with a glittery skyline but there are also versions for London, Miami, LA, Vegas and Washington D.C. shown in the gallery below. The limited edition boots cost $800-$900 and can only be purchased at the UGG Australia stores in those cities.

Are Your UGGs Fake? A 'Made in Australia' Tag Means YES

Even if you consider yourself a savvy shopper capable of spotting a fake a mile away you might want to double-check your favorite UGGs, some of the counterfeits up for sale lately are more than a little convincing.

The tricky part is that the latest UGG knock-offs aren't made of chintzy materials or with poor technique -- they actually have some quality behind them. Both boots pictured here are made of quality sheepskin with reinforced seams. They're both heavy, comfortable, and substantial boots. The only obvious difference is in the logo -- the overly large one on right marks the black boot as the imposter.

UGG Celebrates 30 Years With Limited Edition Styles

UGG Australia has been around 30 years (who knew?) and in early December rolled out three limited edition styles to celebrate. There are two styles for women, the Sundance Limited Edition ($350) and the Ultra Short LE ($275). The men also get an Ultra Short LE ($275). All styles come in UGG's signature color, Chestnut, with dark brown soles. The boots are hand-crafted from Grade-A sheepskin and feature an iconic braid pattern designed just for this collection. Each boot is individually numbered for authenticity.

UGG Dog Carrier

UGGs are in, UGGs are out - it's hard to keep track. Fortunately, your pets probably won't care if you are coordinating your footwear with this adorable UGG Dog Carrier. The carrier is made of cozy shearling with rubber mesh on all the top, bottom and sides to provide plenty of ventilation. The liner is removable for easy cleaning and there are two pockets to store leashes, treats, etc. It has two rounded handles and an adjustable shoulder strap. The bag measures 14" x 9.5" x 10".
