TurboChef Speed Ovens
Used in quick service restaurants like Subway and Starbucks, TurboChef Speed Ovens are gaining popularity in other markets. Well known chefs, like Charlie Trotter, are using them in their high-end restaurants with great success, and now the ovens are ready for home use, as well. The high-end "performance ovens" are incredibly fast and produce results that are equivalent to, if not better than, those from a traditional oven. A 3 1/2 pound chicken, for example, can roast in 14 minutes. The oven is incredibly simple to use and the purchase price can be made up in time saved alone. Price: $8,000.
