$10,000 Teddy Bear Debuts at Toy Fair

This past weekend one of the toys at the American International Toy Fair in New York was getting so much attention it even had its own bodyguard. The culprit was the above pictured teddy bear and all the hullaballoo was everyone wanting to get a look at what a plush animal with a $10,000 price tag looks like. Snuffles, as he's called, is bound to be cuddly (although would anybody dare?) in real white alpaca fur accented with black Tahitian pearl eyes and of course that front-and-center pendant featuring 10 carats worth of diamonds on a white gold chain. Snuffles is currently on a nationwide tour before being auctioned off for charity later this year.

Dollar Teddy Bear Lets You Snuggle Money

Vivre calls Johnny Swing's Dollar teddy bear "cuddly consolation for a bear market." The bear is sewn entirely out of genuine U.S. dollar bills. No eyes, no mouth, just old dollar bills (although having the bear's feet made of matching George Washington faces is a nice touch). The bear is 12" tall and sells for a whopping $1,250 (far more than what is sewn on his body).
