Taffy Mirror
Occasionally, wall art does more than just look good. It can carry a message or even seem to come live, as does the Taffy Mirror from designer David Hurwitz. The mirror is carved and sculpted from natural cherry wood, painted on one side and enriched with a hand-applied Danish oil and varnish finish on the other. It has a distinct flow about it, almost as though whatever is reflected in the mirror is coming towards you and into the room. It would work well in a living room or entryway, as well as in a child's room, where the bright color would be a lovely focal point. It measures 15"H x 12"W x 2"D. Price: $1200.
