You don't have to be a Harley fan to appreciate the wonder of leather clad everything -- apparel, accessories or sporting gear? Natalia Brilli's Leather Skateboard has a black lambskin covered deck accenting the sport's hard edge with a smooth, buttery finish. I wonder if you can buff the scratches out of leather after scuffing it at the skate park. The sleek board is available from studiohomme for €910 and you can complete the ensemble with a lambskin backpack.

Rayskin Handmade Wooden Surfboards

The surfers out there know how much difference a good board can make, and Rayskin is targeting them with their line of handmade hollow wooden surfboards. More eco-friendly than typical foam boards, Rayskin's wooden creations are meticulously designed to be both elite collector's items as well as hydrodynamic high performance sports equipment. A wide a variety of exotic wood types are used, and each surfboard is a numbered one-of-a-kind (because they're handcrafted and unique) "work of rideable art." Louis Vuitton Sprouse Skateboard & Trunk

As part of its celebration of designer Stephen Sprouse as reported by my colleague Deirdre Woollard last month, Louis Vuitton is transforming its SoHo flagship in NYC into a Sprouse tribute starting this Thursday. Along with a new Sprouse collection the luxury label is offering a handful of limited edition items in homage to the late designer and his street-inspired style. The best of these is a Sprouse-inspired skateboard that comes in a custom Louis Vuitton monogram trunk (above). Limited to only three pieces, the set is priced at $8,250. Proceeds from the limited edition pieces will go to charities centered on the promotion of art in New York City.

Modern Convenience Tuck n'Roll Indoor Skateboard

There were a surprising number of kids at the CA Boom show and they were all gathered in one place, at the Modern Convenience display. Their Recess Line includes a variety of swing sets, kid-sized furniture, and a padded vinyl swaying board known as the Jack Rocker. I loved these Tuck n'Roll upholstered Naugahyde skateboards. Designed for indoor use and bare feet it could be a lot of fun for those who have long hallways in their homes.
