This isn't just a beautiful handbag. It's an original work of art created by mixing unusual materials with traditional Hawaiian techniques. This feathered creation features teal-colored sueded silk charmeuse hand-embellished with richly colored peacock feathers. Feathers may be all over the runways this fall, but too much of a good thing can make one a little birdish. I think this bag strikes a nice balance with a wispy row of pink and grey rooster feathers against a soft grey satin.
A panel of dark grey latex is accented with a Swarovski crystal adorned latch and the wide leather and nylon strap is fortunately detachable. Inside, the bag is lined in silk raso and features one leather trimmed pocket. The clutch measures 10.5 x 10.5 x 1.6 x 5.5 and sells for $1100.

I have a weakness for beautiful fabric. I am drawn to gorgeous prints, patterns and colors and as a result, I have a closet full of textiles that I have no real use for. I could justify buying this, however, because it is beautiful and useful. In addition to the great print, I love the barely-there strap and the way the clasp peeks out above the delicately gathered fabric. $249.
