If you've always loved the lady like kiss-lock frame purses but wish you had more space, you will love this bag by Roberta Di Camerino ($1174). It's a super sized version of the feminine classic with a buckle adornment in bubble gum pink across an understated beige color palette. While it unfortunately lacks the kiss lock closure, it does have a frame and features a beige and pink leather double handle with shiny gold metal accents. The opening is quite large and the interior is roomy with a single zippered pocket. It's a fun bag to wear throughout the year.

We might be going slightly overboard with all the yellow handbags we've been featuring lately (Hayden-Harnett Welles Hobo and Jimmy Choo Fru-Elaphe Clutch), but as I write this, it's an extremely gloomy, dark and rainy day. And I am yearning for some bright sunshine. And that is certainly what you'll get while you wear the Velvet Carvel Intreccio Bag ($2995). It's made with velvet - which likely will not feel good against your skin on hot summer days, but it would be great for the cool summer nights – and decorated with orange (although it appears more red) and darker hued yellow stripes. The interior is lined with leather and features a zippered and open pocket.

If this bag were made of leather, it might seem too stiff and structured. But the fact that it is made with velvet certainly softens my perception of it. I love the muted colors and the contrasting stripes, but most of all I love the pretty gold-tone details - delicate little "R's"dangling beneath the hinged frame,which opens wide for total access to the interior of the bag. Inside, it's lined in leather and features a large zippered pocket. Also available in a camel/gray combination, the bag sells for $3,2000 at Barneys.
