Lucky Magazine is bringing its popular shopping event to Los Angeles hosting the first Lucky Shops LA event April 7-9 at Siren Studios in Los Angeles. The event has been a hit in New York for years and offers savings of up to 70% off retail. Rebecca Minkoff's Eyelet Leather Clutch is named accordingly because it's all about eyelets. Eyelets and little else, as they take center stage all lined up in structured rows and showing through to a light (white cotton?) backdrop. My favorite part is the interior, which brings a pleasant surprise in the shape of a whimsical red and white cotton bird-print lining. The bag also has a leather and chain cross-body shoulder strap, an overly-long leather zipper pull, protective metal feet, one outer pocket, 4 interior pockets, and a zippered closure along the top. $365

How cute is the Rebecca Minkoff Lace Mab Satchel? Very.

This sky blue canvas bag is covered in a beautifully executed lace print, which calls forth images of black lace gloves and vintage wallpaper. The blacks and blues are subtly adjoined with gunmetal hardware, which completes this icy cool look.

This is the perfect girly bag for hose of you who cringe when the pastels of summer arrive. It's sexed-up good-girl, like Olivia Newton John at the end of Grease, but without all the grind dancing.

The satchel is fully lined, 13"W X 9"H X 7"D, and has a zip top and outer pocket and metal feet. The detachable shoulder strap has a 14½" drop if you're into that.

The Rebecca Minkoff Darling Shoulder Bag is a bright, playful purse with a flirty vibe. Somebody call Prince -- it's "Purple and Gold."

We love Ms. Minkoff's use of color, and this shoulder bag is no exception. In black, this would be way less special, but in this eye-catching violet, the bag is youthful and fun. We love the vertical zipper belt that holds it all together with a utilitarian push-lock closure and the pretty, dainty tassels on the sides.

The bag is 14 1/2"H x 17"W x 4"D, large enough for books or portfolios, whichever you have. It would certainly brighten our lunch hour to pull a bag like this out from under our desks. A shock of purple can be like a secret weapon against a doldrum-ridden mood.

While the week was all about our dear New York, a few out-of-towners managed to get their collections in the limelight. We enjoyed the new SuperTrash collection, which premiered at Landmarc, Columbus Circle, from Creative Director Olcay Gulsen, whose sleek silhouettes are entirely wearable on both coasts. SuperTrash fans range from Victoria Beckham to Rachel Bilson, and are remarkable for their refined style and high quality materials. "I started SuperTrash in 2004," Gulsen told Luxist. "And it was for this whole new generation of girls who were strong and independent and starting their careers and being who they were and not being ashamed of it." To get an easy idea of the look, the Supertrash woman is someone who pairs rich, textured leggings with a divine wool jacket. "That is the complete lifestyle of SuperTrash," said Gulsen. "Just travel all around the world, have a great time, and be proud."

Why Ms. Minkoff, what a saucy name for your satchel! The Rebecca Minkoff Morning-After Mini Satchel is great for the morning after, true, but we think we'd carry it around all day.

First of all, we love this pick-me-up shade of blue (it's called "Deep Turquoise" and thankfully it's not at the green end of that color range). We can't think of a person who wouldn't be flattered by this color -- wouldn't this look great with your hair? We bet it would.

The shape is simple and attractive; we love the boxy look. At 8 1/2"H x 13"W x 7"D, it's not big enough for your portfolio, but it is big enough for your toothbrush and a change of ... socks (nudge nudge wink wink).

Rebecca Minkoff must love rustic shades of orange because last month we posted on papaya-colored 'Stud Devote Belted Tote' and now today we have this Mini Mini-MAB bag that comes in the same shade. It's tiny and boxy and full of personality despite having very little adornments aside from decorative tassels on the zippers. It has lots of pockets, one outside on the front and two on each side plus several zip, slip, and cell phone pockets inside. A nice, functional way to add a blast of color to your outfit without making too large a statement. $295
