Designer Preparing Fashionable Plastic Shoes
Filed under: Shoes
Jelly shoes and Crocs have given plastic shoes a bit of a bad name but Moschino and Kartell have joined forces to make plastic fantastic once again. The design company and the fashion brand worked together on new versions of Philippe Starck's Mademoiselle chairs and now they have collaborated on the BowWow shoes, a set of brightly colored lightweight ballet flats with a flirty Moschino bow. The completely plastic shoes with an interwoven design come in a wide range of colors and are 100 percent recyclable. The shoes are for spring/summer 2010- 11 and will be on sale at the start of next year.
