Pharrell's New Find: Shipton & Heneage Slippers
Filed under: Shoes, Men's Style

We had already guessed that Pharrell Williams is something of an anglophile judging by his passion for Rolls-Royces. Now the hip-hop star / designer has a new carefully crafted find from the United Kingdom: Shipton & Heneage velvet slippers. Williams recently ordered a pair of the firm's velvet Albert model slip-ons (above) embroidered with an antique pistol motif. Shipton & Heneage's gentlemen's slippers are hand stitched and bench-made in England from the finest materials. They have two retail shops in London, two in Paris and one Scotland, and also offer mail order worldwide. Prices for the slippers, which come in black, navy blue, green, brown or burgundy velvet, range from $185 for stock emblems such as a skull, lion, or stag to $250 for a more complex dragon or ivy motif.
