Palmer and Sons Leather Bag No. 9, Handbag of the Day
Filed under: Handbags

It's the handmade details that charm when it comes to the leather designs of Palmer & Sons. The Vancouver-based company makes their leather goods one at a time and each has its own unique qualities eschewing the blandness of perfection for something more personalized. Their suitcases look like vintage pieces, exquisite relics of a time when leather goods reflected the spirit and details of their creator. The smallest bag in their line is the Handmade Bag No 09 shown above. I is made of chestnut bridle leather with brass rivets, stainless steel hangers and a zebra wood toggle. The exterior size is approximately 8" x 6" x 3.5" and the straps are adjustable and can be removed to use the bag as clutch. All details can be customized. This bag sells for $230 to the U.S.
