Citroën DS3 by Orla Kiely Collection

Fashion designers reinterpreting premium hatchbacks seems to be all the rage these days, and the latest combines the efforts of one Orla Kiely with those of French automaker Citroën.

The resultant Citroën DS3 by Orla Kiely Collection is made up of four different models, each painted in one of four different colors with four different roof designs that feature Orla Kiely's signature stem or acorn design – a theme which repeats in the interior and on the rear tailgate. There's also contrasting door mirror shells and 17-inch alloys in either white or black depending on the design.

Only 500 examples will be made in all, and you can see them in the high-resolution image gallery below.

A Wonderful Winterland of Coats

It's officially winter and it seems like mother nature is not messing around this season. Frigid temperatures, face numbing winds and knee high snow storms are being seen around the world. I must admit, I was really hoping winter would start much later in 2011 or perhaps not at all. Ha! Wishful thinking.

If you're like me and you haven't yet purchased a suitable winter coat, or you just want a stylish update to last year's coat - no need to worry. We've searched and selected 11 winter coats that will provide comfort, warmth and show off your fashionable taste.

One of my favorite coats is by Moncler. The French company makes coats and jackets that balances a sense of fashionable style with functional necessity. Everyone wants to look good while keeping warm. The company originally starting out making winter gear for workers who had to endure the cold for long hours, and then moved into creating a wide assortment of winter gear for mountain climbers and those on expeditions. You can be sure that once you buy a Moncler coat, you will be warm in the harshest of weather for years to come.

Of Moncler's many coats that we could feature, I chose the Mer Jacket ($1300).Taking a simple black down jacket, the Mer is beautifully updated and feminized with quilted detailing and a belted waist with a shiny black buckle. The fully lined Mer Jacket features 4 exterior pockets, ribbed cuffs to prevent cold air from coming through and a removable fur trim on the hood.

Orla Kiely's handbags have always had an infusion of vintage inspired designs and modern appeal. Her vibrantly colorful iconic floral pattern is one that any handbag enthusiast can spot from across the room and become instantly drawn to. I was happy to see that Kiely's online shop recently made available the SS2010 Handbag collection for purchase. This new line still encompasses the floral pattern that sets her apart from other designers while having a healthy mix of subdued earth tone and electrifying in-your-face-bold colorways.

One of our favorites, is the understated Cut Flower Leather Burdock Bag.With a buttery chocolate brown as the backdrop, the little white flowers stand out beautifully. This bucket style bag has a generous interior without the bulkiness and added weight of a large leather bag. There is no denying that with the arrival of Spring comes the feeling of renewal. Cleaning out the clutter in our homes and minds while starting the season with a fresh outlook and sense of excitement for the warm weather. And of course, who can forget about shedding away the winter gear and replacing it with skirts, dresses, tank tops, shorts and open toed sandals? Finally, our skin is able to see the sun and feel the warmth once again. So perhaps this may be a bit melodramatic but I am so ready for warm spring and hot summer days. Cheap Chic: Orla Kiely Comes to Target

In her line of retro-inspired kitchen gear, Orla Kiely brings her trademark bold prints to Target early this February. The collection includes items you may expect -- plenty of cute and kitschy servingware, trays, coasters, table linens. But there are also supplies for closet organization (finally, cute looking shoe storage), a crisp little apron and plenty of other accessories.

Despite Revolutionary Road's rather anti-suburban message, Kate Winslet would look good in those matching oven mitts.

Orla Kiely Berry Sling Bag, Handbag of the Day

I just love travel bags that you can actually find when they're circling the luggage carousel. It decreases the chances of someone else taking your bag by mistake and keeps you from embarrassing yourself by walking off with the wrong black Samsonite. Of course, Orla Kiely's Berry Sling Bag, at 15.25" X 12.5" X 5", is more of a carry-on shoulder bag than one that you would normally check, although its bold raspberry coloring will make it easy to spot no matter where you take it. The canvas bag has a wide adjustable shoulder strap and a reinforced leather bottom that can stand up to any surface. It has three compartments inside and a zip closure to keep everything secured.
