Zooey Deschanel Glasses, for Oliver Peoples

Actress Zooey Deschanel joins the ranks of celebrity designers with a contribution to the Oliver Peoples line of eyewear. Available in five colors, as optical eyewear or a sunglass, the "Zooey" is hand-crafted of plastic in beveled contours and features a vintage-inspired, custom Oliver Peoples metal plaque with ridged detailing at the end pieces. The CR-39 lenses are equipped with a one-of-a-kind breath logo in the shape of Deschanel's kissing lips, an element also featured on the cocktail napkin-esque AR cloth included. Available for presale online through March 15 and expected to hit stores in April; $415.

Diamond Harlot Sunglasses

Between losing them and accidentally sitting on them, I'm pretty rough on my sunglasses and usually end up going through several pairs every year (or sometimes just in a season). So although I usually stick with fairly inexpensive brands this Diamond Harlot makes me want to rethink that decision. We first covered the Harlot by Oliver Peoples a couple years ago and now the glamorous, over-sized oval design has made a not-to-be-missed return, except this time with the added glitz of an 18k gold lug and 1.5 carats of glittering diamonds on each temple.

The Diamond Harlot is currently available in 3 color schemes (white, black, and pearl) at English and Mulley for £2720.

While the name may indicate some potentially bad behavior, we can think of nothing but praise for Oliver Peoples' Harlot sunglasses. These oversized plastic frames scream 70's glam while keeping a modern line. Even if you aren't as skinny as Nicole Richie or Lindsay Lohan, you can still look great by the pool with these great frames. Oliver Peoples makes all sorts of glasses available at many retailers worldwide. I found this particular pair at Saks.com for $340.
